About Panache
About Panache
For nearly 29 years, Panache Boutique has brought women of all ages everything they need to feel good about themselves, from the perfect little black dress or the stop-you-in-the-street coat to a one of a kind handbag or belt. The boutique was originally founded as a unique accessory shop, where women could find the “panache” for any occasion. Finding beauty from within is the hallmark of Panache – women walk in hoping to find an outfit, and often times, walk out with a new, better sense of self. Panache offers on-site tailoring and parking is ample along the newly reinvented Clark Street.

Lynne Barnett
As owner and founder I have been passionate about my store for 29 years. It has and will always be about my customers needs. My personal goal is for each woman to feel valued for her individuality and life experiences. It gives me as much pride and pleasure today as it did when I first opened my doors. I promise to continue to live up to those standards.
For those who know me well, thank you for appreciating my eccentricities and love for what I do. It is my pleasure to offer appointments on request anytime for any customer. In the spirit of just being me--29 years later; I will always continue to push the boundaries, be authentic to my personalized point of view, and I will always keep the customer interested, excited, and ageless. |

Alana Galvin
I graduated from Eastern Michigan University, with a degree in apparel, textiles and merchandising. After graduation and several years of working in retail, I knew I wanted the next chapter of my life to start in Chicago. Luckily, I have been blessed with an amazing family who has supported and encouraged me with my move here.
As a sales associate and assistant buyer, I have always loved helping people put together the perfect ensemble. I am interested in many different aspects of fashion; I am a creative person and often engage in creative outlets, whether it is music, drawing, or simply assembling an outfit. Since I can remember I have been spending time in my mother's closet putting together outfits. So it came as no surprise when I started assisting at Panache in closet organization for clients, available upon request. |

I am currently enrolled at the accredited art school, Columbia College, where my focus is on visual merchandising and retail management. The courses I have taken at Columbia have taught me the business side of fashion along with executing my ideas for displays.
I have always been interested in creative outlets such as music, art, and fashion. With my mother being my biggest supporter, it is because of her and my passion that has led me to follow my goals. From a young age it was looking at the pictures in fashion magazines in her salon which began my interest in fashion.
Having worked in the retail industry for over 5 years, I plan to further my career and abilities at Panache. In this very exciting retail environment I hope to develop interpersonal skills along with creating eye catching displays. The opportunity to work with creative people doing something they believe in is exactly what I have found in Panache. |
